AMAZING!

Great Job Everyone!!!

You all did a fantastic job at the Sharing Assembly! I can't say enough how proud I am to be one of your teachers. I hope you all take a minute to think about the performances and let it sink it. Everyone contributed and played a vital part to the overall performance... and it was amazing. Way to go!

Moving on to... MUSIC! This will be the main focus this term. I'm still looking into the guitar situation at school. As soon as I have more information, I will let you know. In the mean time, we will learn about music history. TRUST ME. You will love it. :)

Peace & Love,

Ms. Lee

Your Next Assignment

We will be practicing for our upcoming performance over the next two weeks. I would also like you to complete the following...

1. Check out the videos posted on my website: www2.sd38.bc.ca/~salee (click on Ms. Lee's Website). You can also find the site listed on the Woodward website.

2. Choose one video that you haven't written a reflection on.

3. Write a reflection on your blog.
Remember, your login is either "div3ninjas" or "div4ninjas" and your password is the subject that I teach you (no spaces). Find your name and add new post, then publish. If you are having trouble with your blog, come see me. You also have the option on writing it on paper and handing it in. Please include your name, date, division, and a title if you write it on paper.

4. The criteria for this assignment is the same as your other reflections (Welcome Home, Stand By Me, Kids...). Ask yourself: "How did it make me feel? Did I like it? Why or why not?, Did I make a connection? What does this remind me of?"

5. You will received a mark out of 4. You all can get 4's! Just be sure to explain your thoughts and feelings about the video. This takes more than one or two sentences!

6. DUE: Tuesday, January 18. Plenty of time.

Good luck! Come see me if you have any questions. You can also check your classmate's previous reflections online to get some ideas on how to achieve a 4!

Peace & Love,

Ms. Lee

Welcome Back!!

Hey everyone!

I hope you all had a great break! I had a wonderful time with my family down in LA and Las Vegas... even though it was pouring rain for the first week! I ate so much food and got to see all my cousins... My little brother and my dad went to a Lakers game!

Here's what I have planned for second term:
* Practice our performance for the January assembly. I have written up a rough draft of a skit that will accompany our "Kids" and "Jason Mraz" songs. More details to come.
* Music will be our next focus. This will take part mainly in the multi-purpose room, but I will try to get some computer time as well.
* To the winners of the Jack Johnson contest: Please come see me at lunch on Tuesday (Jan. 4)... spread the word.

That's it for now! Can't wait to see you!

Peace & Love,

Ms. Lee
